I just went to the BBC's iPlayer thingy to watch Friday's episode of New Tricks. It wasn't listed separately so I clicked on "Drama and Soaps". One of the programmes listed was the Scottish Labour Party Conference.

Neither.
Party conferences are 'porn'. Not in a sexy way, but it's ugly people dreaming about what they could achieve if only [insert bizarre set of circumstances] came to pass. on that level, even the TUC conference is quite good fun to watch.
